Key West Pride is a festival like no other. People come from all over the world to celebrate who they are with no boundaries. Parties, pageants, pools and parades, Key West has it all.
Sponsored by the Key West Business Guild, the party started it off at the premier all men’s resort but opened it up to all. The LGBT community was there to support this event, as was EDGE.
It’s Pride week in Key West and what better ending to this celebration than a parade. This Pride parade celebrated engagements and weddings in the LGBT community and even held a ceremony at the very end of the parade.
Key West Pride, first started in 1978, still goes strong today. This year, the festivities kick off on Wednesday, June 11, ushering in five days of fun and frivolity.
Pride means three things in Key West. Parties, Pageants and Parades, which is what happened for five fun-filled days. Miss Pride, Mr. Pride and Ms. Pride were all crowned. The parties lasted all night at Aqua Nightclub, 801 Cabaret and Bourbon Street Pub.

Based in Miami, White Party runs from November 16 through 26, and for the first time, attendees are encouraged to keep the party going the day after at Key’s West’s top gay men’s guesthouse.
Key West celebrated their Pride Parade and Festival, June 9-10, bringing out the crowds for parties, outdoor adventure and funnyman Leslie Jordan.
Pride Week 2012 Key West Style kicked off with an all welcome event at the Island House, the world’s premiere men only resort. Fine food was served and complimentary beverages were the attraction along with the numerous sites.
